GF-ELTI Heat Treatment Service certified for Aerospace and Defence

In 2019 GF-ELTI has decided to take on a new challenge by officially entering the Aerospace and Defence Industry. In order to approach this extremely exigent and technologically advanced market, two certifications must be obtained to grant maximum reliability and safety. GF-ELTI obtained the first certification called UNI EN 9100:2018 in September 2019 when followed the official enrollment for the NADCAP certification, activity in progress. These certifications will confirm that GF-ELTI has all the requirements to offer its own Heat Treatment Service to the Aerospace Business.
UNI EN 9100:2018 CERTIFICATION
The Certification UNI EN 9100:2018 certifies Quality Management Systems within Corporations that comply with Aerospace Authorities and Manufacturers’ Requirements. Developed by IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) on the same base of ISO 9001, it is applied to Companies that produce and deal parts and components for the Aerospace Industry. Being certified UNI EN 9100:2018 means empowering and pushing forward the Quality Management System already in place, while widening and deepening even more the control of every step of the production process.
NADCAP CERTIFICATION
The NADCAP (National Aerospace & Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is a program developed by Companies of the Aerospace Business to certify Special Processes such as Heat Treatment on Components.
This Program states Technical and Qualitative Requirements, that represents the reference standard for the market. Obtaining the NADCAP certification means to be a partner of excellence, able to offer an Heat Treatment Service recognized and certified globally.
