Stress Relieving Heat Treatment allows to reduce the internal tensions of quenched and tempered products. It is normally carried out at 50 °C below Tempering temperature and it is followed by a slow cooling process in the furnace until the temperature of 250 ÷ 300 °C is reached.
This Heat Treatment can be carried out on rolled, forged or cast products for various sectors, including Oil & Gas, Mechanics, Naval, Nuclear, Aerospace and Power Generation.
GF-ELTI performs Stress Relieving Heat Treatments with plants certified according to the most restrictive European and/or international standards such as API 6A, ASTM A991, AMS 2750, NORSOK M-650, NADCAP and ABS.
