Thermochemical Nitriding Heat Treatment is a diffusion process through which the surface layer of steel is enriched with various components, including gaseous ammonia. Through this Heat Treatment, the surface layer of the material can reach hardnesses of 1,000 HV.
This Heat Treatment can be carried out on rolled, forged or cast products for various sectors, including Oil & Gas, Mechanics, Naval, Nuclear, Aerospace and Power Generation.
