Cooling Fluids Agitation System via Mixer

GF-ELTI Cooling Fluids Agitation Systems are plants connected to Heat Treatment lines and used for stirring liquids in quenching tanks by means of mixers.

This plant-engineering solution is used for imparting a directional movement to the liquid inside the quenching tank to generate a continuous exchange of the liquid layer in contact with the surface of products as well as to continuously mix the liquid inside the tank to avoid any localised temperature peak.

The types of Extinction Fluids Agitation Systems can be grouped into two categories: systems with immersed stirrers and systems with wall stirrers.

In the former case, stirrers are placed at the bottom of the tank and they can have a vertical or pivoting axis, according to process needs.

These mixers consist of:

In the latter case, stirrers are installed on the walls of the tank and they act on a horizontal-axis basis. Moreover, according to process needs, they can be installed above / below the charge to create a vortex surrounding and wrapping it up or they can be aligned with tubular products to lap inner and outer surfaces at the same time.

These mixers consist of:

Extinction Fluids Agitation Systems are therefore extremely versatile devices since the combinations of position, direction and power they may acquire make them suitable for each type of tank and product.

Types of treated products: metal products of various dimensions, weight and shape.
