GF-ELTI Bell / Double Combinable Bell Furnaces are plants used for the heat treatment of semi-finished products.
This type of plants is characterised by a maximum operating temperature of abt. 1,250 °C and it is designed to obtain excellent temperature uniformity, reheating and cooling gradients varying according to the types of heat treatment required by the Customer.

The plant is built according to the logic of modular prefabrication, which enables to quicken the on-site assembly stages of the plant without requiring the realisation of foundations, but of an adequate support surface only.
The refractory linings for insulation of the parts forming the furnace are generally made of fibrous materials.
Double Combinable Bell Furnaces ensure higher production flexibility since they can be used as separate or combined furnaces so as to create one single furnace with higher loading length and thermal capacity, which can process semi-finished products of greater dimensions.
The plants mounted on line are shifted on the same rail and joined after opening the doors thanks to necessary handling systems so as to create one single furnace chamber sealed by pneumatic ratchet gears and managed as one single unit according to the master and slave logic (one single programming, combustion, handling).
These plants are equipped with GF-ELTI Cold Air or Auto-Recuperative Burners, characterised by high speed and fixed power. Their operation is managed through a PLC and the energy supply is kept under constant control by changing the ON and OFF times, to which every single burner is subject.
This type of plants can obtain an increase in the production rate since simultaneously working on 2 or more soles and it can realise hearths and rails on the workshop floor.
According to the Customer’s various needs, this type of plants can be designed and realised in observance of the following international standards: API 6A, ASTM A991, AMS 2750, NADCAP, NORSOK, M-650, ABS.
Types of treated products: semi-finished products of various dimensions, weight and shape, handled through any means (bridge crane, lift truck, manipulator, etc.).
